By Web Desk — Several new projects have been launched by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) to promote digital investment and enhance investment opportunities.
“The CDNS is developing digital prize bonds in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), which will be available through electronic channels on Monday,” a senior CDNS official said. “CDNS is also developing its first mobile application to assist with online purchase and encashment of national saving schemes,” he said.
For faster and more efficient transfer of funds through electronic means, the CDNS will implement RAAST during January in order to improve the flow of funds through their financial tributaries.
CDNS opened three separate accounts in SBP to avoid direct access to the non-food account for its alternative delivery channel (ADC) operations and payment through 1Link, UPI, and RAAST.
According to him, the Finance Division would set the budgetary ceiling on a daily basis and CDNS would operate within those limits.
