NEW YORK – US President Donald Trump has once again issued a stark warning to Iran, threatening to destroy the country while simultaneously hinting at a possible meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.
In an interview with a US television network, Trump said he has reached a “decisive stage” regarding the US-Iran war and that major changes are coming to the region.
“The time for a big decision on Iran has come,” Trump stated.
Three Options for Iran
The US President outlined what he described as Iran’s three options:

“I could meet with the Iranian President during the UN General Assembly,” Trump said.
This comes just days after the United States granted visas to both President Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to attend the UN General Assembly session.
