Web Desk: After facing setbacks at the hands of the Pakistan Air Force, India has changed its strategy and launched a total of 77 Israeli-made Herop drones towards Pakistan. However, all of them have been shot down by Pakistan.
According to security sources, as of the evening of May 8, 29 drones sent by India had been destroyed. Furthermore, an additional 48 drones were shot down during the night and throughout the day, bringing the total number of destroyed Indian drones to 77.
The Director General of ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) stated that all drones were continuously monitored on radar. Each time a drone was detected, it was tracked in real time. He emphasized that Pakistan’s air defense system is capable of tracking even small drones. A specific operational procedure is in place to safely neutralize drones, especially in civilian areas and during commercial flights.
