PTI Establishment Back-Channel Contacts Resume

Monitoring Desk: Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar confirms a private meeting with Army Chief General Asim Munir.

According to a Geo News report, Barrister Gohar stated that he, along with Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, met the Army Chief in Peshawar. During the meeting, they presented PTI’s concerns and demands to the Army Chief.

Barrister Gohar further mentioned that matters related to national stability were also discussed during the meeting. As per Geo News, while speaking to journalists at Adiala Jail, the PTI founder also confirmed the meeting between Barrister Gohar, Ali Amin Gandapur, and the Army Chief.

Barrister Gohar told Geo News that he did not talk to the media about his meeting with the army chief. He added that whatever is being reported regarding his meeting with the army chief is untrue. However, he confirmed his meeting with the army chief Gen. Asim Munir.
