NAB case livestreaming

Web Desk — The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has moved the Supreme Court for the live broadcast of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) trial proceedings.

Additional Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Syed Kausar Ali Shah filed the application, seeking permission to livestream the NAB trial proceedings for the sake of public interest.

The KP government has asserted in its application that the hearings of cases concerning public welfare should be livestreamed from the bench.

The application appeals for an order to be issued for the direct broadcast of NAB trial proceedings.

In the last hearing of the case PTI founder Imran Khan appeared in the court on video link. Imran Khan is the person who challenged the NAB amendments in the court.
