Web Desk: Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf and his wife, Muzna Masood Malik, have been blessed with their first child, a baby boy, in a heartwarming update from the cricketing world.
The news was shared by fellow cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi and all-rounder Shadab Khan via their official Instagram accounts. However, Rauf himself has yet to make an official announcement.
“Congratulations to [Haris Rauf] and his family on the birth of his first child! I wish health, happiness, and prosperity for the little one and the family. May Allah bless you,” Shadab wrote on his Instagram story.
Afridi also took to Instagram to congratulate Rauf, writing, “Wishing you and your family endless joy and happiness on the birth of your baby boy.”
A Journey from Tape Ball to International Stardom
Haris Rauf tied the knot with his classmate Muzna, who is also a model, in an intimate ceremony in Islamabad in December 2022.
His cricketing journey began with tape ball cricket before he gained recognition in international cricket. He was picked up by Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Lahore Qalandars, who invested in his talent and sent him to Australia for high-level training.
Rauf later represented the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League (BBL) before making his T20I debut for Pakistan in 2020. Since then, the right-arm pacer has played 48 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 79 T20Is, securing 85 and 110 wickets, respectively.
The cricketing fraternity continues to celebrate this special moment in Rauf’s life, as fans eagerly await his official confirmation.
