Though it was India that went ahead in the first half of the Kabaddi World Cup final but in the 2nd half Pakistani players proved their metal and clinched victory from India's hands to become the World Champions of Kabaddi for 2020. It was historic as it was Pakistan's 1st victory in the Kabaddi World Cup final.
Punjab Stadium Lahore was jampacked with thousands of Kabaddi lovers who enjoyed every moment of the game of power, percision and technique. In the beginning, India was leading and the contest between the two traditional rivals remained neck-on-neck throughout the allotted time.
During the 2nd half, Binyameen, along with Irfan Mana and Shafiq Chishti, proved to be too heavy for their Indian counterparts as the three played a significant role in the victory.
President Arif Alive, PM Imran Alvi and Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa congratulated the team over historic win.
