British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s girl friend and fiancee Carrie Symonds, has given birth to a baby boy, British media reported. Both mother and child are stable and doing well.
Johnson, 55, became the most high-profile world leader to contract COVID-19 one month ago. He had to spend a week in hospital, including three nights in ICU. He admitted in a video message after he was discharged that things "could have gone either way".
Johnson has already joined his office at Downing Street. Johnson's spokesman said that the PM will now be resuming his full duties.
