MOSCOW<\/strong> \u2013 Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has described his brief visit to Islamabad as “extremely useful,” stating that highly positive consultations were held with Pakistan’s leadership regarding the ongoing negotiations with the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Araghchi arrived in Moscow on Sunday, where he is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to review the progress of the war and assess the current regional situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Very Positive Consultations’ in Islamabad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to Iranian media upon his arrival in the Russian capital, Araghchi provided insights into his unannounced trip to Pakistan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We had very positive consultations with officials in Islamabad. The officials consulted on past events and those specific circumstances under which negotiations with the United States can continue,” Araghchi said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
