The United States Central Command has confirmed the death of a seventh American service member in the ongoing conflict with Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the military, the soldier was wounded during an Iranian attack on a US military base in Saudi Arabia on March 1 and later died from the injuries. Officials said the identity of the fallen soldier will remain confidential until the family has been formally notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, the bodies of six American service members killed in a drone attack in Kuwait were returned to the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and Vice President JD Vance were among the officials who received the remains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The six troops, including a female First Sergeant, were killed during an Iranian attack on the port of Shuaiba in Kuwait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among those killed was Nicole Amor, a Staff Sergeant First Class who was only days away from returning home to her husband and two children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She died alongside five other US service members when a drone struck a command center in Kuwait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement, Robert Harter, Chief of the Army Reserve and Commanding General of the United States Army Reserve Command, paid tribute to the fallen troops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
