Indonesia has expressed profound interest in benefiting from the expertise of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF)<\/strong> to enhance its own air force’s capabilities and modernize its training systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu<\/strong>, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, undertook an official visit to Indonesia during which he held high-level meetings with the country’s civilian and military leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting with Indonesian President<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key highlight of the visit was Air Chief Marshal Sidhu’s meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto<\/strong>. During the discussions, President Prabowo conveyed Indonesia’s keen interest in collaborating with the PAF to enhance the Indonesian air force’s modern training systems and overall defence potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ISPR stated that the Indonesian leadership recognizes the PAF’s combat experience and professional expertise as valuable assets for cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Air Chief also held important meetings with the Indonesian Defence Minister<\/strong> and the country’s military leadership. During these interactions, the Indonesian Air Chief<\/strong> highly praised the PAF’s combat experience and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recognition of his services and efforts to strengthen bilateral defence ties, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu was conferred the Indonesian Air Force’s highest honour, the ‘Medal of Honour’<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
