The agreement aims to foster innovation in digital payments, marking a pivotal step in Pakistan&#8217;s journey toward a robust digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signing ceremony was attended by the nation&#8217;s top leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and the Chairman of Pakistan&#8217;s Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority, among other high-ranking officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to the ceremony, Prime Minister Sharif met with the World Liberty Financial delegation, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Zachary Witkoff. The Prime Minister briefed the delegation on the vision of a &#8220;Digital Pakistan,&#8221; emphasizing that digital connectivity, transparency, and public access are top priorities for his government. He stated that digital payments and financial innovation are integral components of this digital economic transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Growing international interest in Pakistan&#8217;s digital financial markets is encouraging,&#8221; Prime Minister Sharif remarked. &#8220;Pakistan is becoming a part of the global digital finance ecosystem.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zachary Witkoff expressed his company&#8217;s keen interest in collaborating with Pakistan to develop a secure and transparent digital payments infrastructure.
