Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated in a press briefing that Pakistan’s military operations are precisely targeted and avoid civilian harm. “Our operations target only terrorists and their facilitators. We do not cause collateral damage,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The military spokesperson outlined a grave security threat emanating from Afghanistan, alleging a deep nexus between the Afghan Taliban, the extremist “Fasad-e-Kharijites” (mischief of the Kharijites), and India. He accused the Afghan Taliban regime of having allied with “Fasad-e-Hind” (India’s Mischief), claiming they merely use the cloak of Islam. “The Afghan Taliban have found a new hero in the form of Modi,” Lt. Gen. Chaudhry stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He declared Afghanistan has become the epicenter of terrorism in the region, hosting various jihadist groups. “It would not be wrong to say that Afghanistan has become a sanctuary for terrorism at this time,” he said, citing reports from credible international media and the expulsion of Afghan nationals by the US, Europe, and Iran over security concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Indian Media and Facilitation:<\/strong>
The DG ISPR accused Indian media of running campaigns in support of terrorists’ facilitators in Pakistan. He claimed that when security forces arrest the killers of innocent citizens, it is wrongfully portrayed by the Indian media as a human rights violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Criticism of KP Government’s Stance:<\/strong>
Lt. Gen. Chaudhry expressed disappointment with the stance of the ruling party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), highlighting Chief Minister Suhail Afridi’s statement questioning why terrorism isn’t occurring in Afghanistan’s other neighboring countries. The spokesperson played video clips for journalists showing PTI parliamentarians alleging the army was in tribal areas “for dollars and minerals.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a sharp rebuttal, he asked, “Who is paying the army dollars in return for operations? Can any journalist verify this?” Addressing the minerals issue, he stated peace must be established first for extraction and questioned to whom the KP government has awarded 5,000 mining licenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call for National Unity:<\/strong>
The DG ISPR asserted that India is currently using the Afghan Taliban, and despite repeated advice to the Taliban against such actions, the threat persists. “The war against terrorism is not the army’s war; it is the people’s war. If we do not stop them, they will enter our homes and kill us,” he warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He lamented that a ruling party in one province says, “We will not allow military operations,” despite the protection of the country’s geographical boundaries being the fundamental duty of the Pakistan Army. “We will not allow Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to be handed over to terrorists,” he declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Firm Warning to Adversaries:<\/strong>
Lt. Gen. Chaudhry issued a stern warning, stating there would be no negotiations with terrorists and their facilitators. “We will send them to hell,” he said. Addressing India and Afghanistan, he added, “If India and Afghanistan are so eager to attack Pakistan, they should come. We will fulfill their desire.” He stated that teaching India a lesson in the “battle of truth” was necessary, reiterating that the state’s primary responsibility is to protect its geographical borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pakistan Rejects Indian Minister’s Allegations<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
