All three players will be ineligible to participate in the league\u2019s auction next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ben Stokes did not register for this year\u2019s mega auction, which automatically rules him out of next year\u2019s mini-auction as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Harry Brook<\/strong> withdrew his name at the last moment in 2025 due to personal reasons. As a result, he is no longer eligible to enter the IPL auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jason Roy<\/strong> did not register for IPL 2025, and he had also withdrawn from the 2024 edition. Therefore, he too remains ineligible for the upcoming auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, South Africa\u2019s <strong>Faf du Plessis<\/strong> and England\u2019s <strong>Moeen Ali<\/strong> have already announced that they will prioritize the Pakistan Super League (PSL) over the IPL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Australia\u2019s explosive batter <strong>Glenn Maxwell<\/strong> has also decided not to participate in the IPL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Monday, 8 December 2025 | Web Desk The Indian Premier League (IPL) has closed its doors on three England cricketers, including star all-rounder Ben Stokes.
