In a strongly worded media briefing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry<\/strong> accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder of behaving like a \u201cmental patient\u201d whose personal ambitions have grown \u201cbigger than the state itself.\u201d He said the PTI founder appears heavily influenced by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and now perceives himself as indispensable to Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho do you think you are?\u201d DG ISPR Questions PTI Founder<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Criticising the former prime minister, the DG ISPR stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho are you? What do you think of yourself? What message are you trying to give?
Your politics is over. Nothing is above the State of Pakistan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the PTI founder has become a national security threat<\/strong> and is \u201cworking in coordination with foreign elements.\u201d The spokesperson added that anyone who believes his personal identity is greater than Pakistan is \u201cgravely mistaken.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the \u2018Mental Patient\u2019 Says<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the army spokesperson, the PTI founder urges his followers to attack the very military leadership that \u201cled Pakistan to victory in the battle against India.\u201d He said such rhetoric reflects the mindset that has made him a \u201cmental patient.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif said the PTI\u2019s propaganda cell creates fabricated notifications and feeds material to Indian media, which uses it to malign Pakistan. He added that the PTI founder\u2019s narrative implies \u201cIndia had already defeated Pakistan on May 6 and 7,\u201d mocking claims that the Pakistani military could not fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe fought and defeated an enemy far bigger than us,\u201d he said, stressing that the era of the PTI founder\u2019s \u201ctricks and illusions is over.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Propaganda Over the CDF Notification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DG ISPR said a flood of falsehoods surrounded the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF)<\/strong> notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs this freedom of expression? Is this politics? Every piece of military news was turned into propaganda.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Indian and Afghan media used PTI\u2019s misinformation to build anti-Pakistan narratives. The PTI founder\u2019s recent tweet\u2014viral within minutes across hostile media\u2014served as an example of coordinated disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho Are You to Declare People Traitors?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif said the PTI founder labels anyone with ties to military personnel a traitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf I met the students of Allama Iqbal Open University, does that make them traitors? Who are you to distribute certificates of treason?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTalk About Your Provincial Government\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DG ISPR urged the PTI founder to focus on the province his party governs rather than attacking state institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPakistan has countless issues\u2014why don\u2019t you talk about them? We keep saying: keep us out of politics.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo One Can Drive a Wedge Between the Army and the People\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stressed that the PTI founder, or \u201ceven his father,\u201d cannot create divisions between the army and the Pakistani public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe army is an institution of the state, and we are not going anywhere. As long as Pakistan exists, the army will exist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Governor\u2019s Rule<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding to a journalist\u2019s question, the DG ISPR said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe decision on governor\u2019s rule lies with the government. The army has nothing to do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen a Dog Barks, You Don\u2019t Need to Worry\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without naming anyone directly, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPeople who make such statements\u2014well, when a dog is barking, you don\u2019t need to be overly concerned.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho Is Running This Anti-Army Narrative?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the army has never spoken about any political leader in this manner before because no other politician had ever acted this way. PTI\u2019s politics, he claimed, revolves solely around attacking the military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is now time to reveal who is running this narrative.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terrorism in KP: \u201cHow Many Terrorists Were Executed?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DG ISPR highlighted that most terrorism incidents currently occur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa<\/strong>, questioning the provincial government\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
