Web Desk<\/strong> — The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be holding a rally against alleged rigging in general elections on March 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PTI Core Committee meeting was held in Islamabad in which the current political situation and an according future strategy was discussed. The Core Committee decided to hold a ceremony in Islamabad on March 23 afternoon regarding Pakistan Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former ruling party approached the Islamabad High Court earlier this week to seek permission for a public gathering in the federal capital later this month after the district administration kept silent on PTI\u2019s multiple requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PTI\u2019s official handout says that the party would hold a \u201cspecial press conference\u201d in Islamabad on March 25 on the country\u2019s economy, the new economic package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and its impact on the common man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee discussed in detail the content of the statement made by US Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu before the Congressional Committee on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
