Web Desk<\/strong> — Donald Trump warns it will likely be the end of American democracy if he does not win November\u2019s presidential election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Republican presidential candidate was speaking to supporters in Ohio. Trump made the claim after repeating his previous allegations that his 2020 election defeat to Democratic President Joe Biden was the result of election fraud. He predicted that American democracy would come to an end if he does not win the Nov. 5 general election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite being under criminal indictment in Georgia for trying to overturn the result of 2020 election there, Trump won enough delegates this week to mathematically clinch the Republican nomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A general election rematch with Biden is likely to be extremely close as Reuters\/Ipsos poll last week found the two candidates in a statistical tie with registered voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump also paid tribute to his supporters, currently in jail for rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as they sought to block certification of Biden\u2019s 2020 election win. Trump saluted and called them \u201cpatriots\u201d and \u201chostages\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At one point during his speech in Dayton, Trump said, \u201cIf I don\u2019t get elected, it\u2019s going to be a bloodbath for the whole country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to ensure his victory, Trump is making appeals to the Black and Hispanic voters who will play a key role in deciding November\u2019s election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump raised the issue of illegal migrants by saying that too many illegal immigrants have crossed the US-Mexico border since Biden took office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Trump, no-one has been hurt by Joe Biden\u2019s migrant invasion more than the\u00a0great African American and Hispanic communities. He claimed without citing any evidence that illegal immigrants were taking their jobs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
