Email ID is the additional security layer that ensures that you can log into the account from another device, as long as you can access the mail address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For scammers, it was easier to target WhatsApp, depending solely on the mobile number. Scammers can easily access and get hold of the details of the account by using tricks like SIM cloning.
