They hoisted the Pakistani flag on top of the mountain.

According to Karrar Haidri, secretary of the Alpine Club Pakistan, Shehroze and Naila along with other members of the Seven Summit Treks team successfully completed their Mt Annapurna expedition on Monday morning between 6:30 to 7:30 am.

This is once again a feather in Pakistan’s hat that its citizen Shehroze becomes the youngest mountaineer in the world to summit 11 peaks above 8000 meters. Likewise, Naila has become the first Pakistani woman to have climbed Annapurna. Naila is the first Pakistani woman climber to have summitted four peaks above 8,000-metre.

Secretary Alpine Club Mr. Haidri said earlier on Saturday that Sajid Ali Sadpara successfully ascended Annapurna without oxygen. According to Haidri, this was his fourth 8,000’er summit, and all of them climbed without oxygen. This is quite impressive that Pakistani climbers are setting new records in mountaineering.

Three Pakistani climbers, as Haidri said, were initially together at the base camp.
