  1. Sang-e-Mah (Hum TV)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Hum TV’s production Sang-e-Mah’s success was rather startling. The Saifee Hassan drama was a mix of the brilliance of writing and direction. Sang-e-Mah was<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sang-e-Mah was Atif Aslam’s debut in the field of acting. The story of the play revolved around his rivalry with Haji Marjan (Naumaan Ijaz). The singer-turned-actor impressed viewers with his amazing acting skills. Likewise, Hania Aamir as Gul Meena was also at her best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Mere Humsafar (ARY Digital)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With a script based on conventional romantic relationships, the drama Mere Humsafar was very popular among viewers due to the stunning performances of the lead pair Hamza (Farhan Saeed) and Hala (Hania Aamir). The play was a complete win due to its smart screenplay and fine editing. Director Qasim Ali Mureed proved his art of storytelling. According to critics, Mere Humsafar would have been a near-perfect show, had its writing could have been tight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Mere Humnahseen (Geo Entertainment)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The drama highlighted the plight of people living in the northern areas of Pakistan. The story threw light on the obstacles that women face in an atmosphere where honor and vengeance are everything to men. The drama topped the TRP charts mainly due to the excellent acting skills of Ahsan Khan as Darkahzai and Hiba Bukhari as Khajista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Sinf-e-Ahan (ARY Digital)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sinf-e-Ahan was Nadeem Baig\u2019s critically acclaimed venture in collaboration with ISPR. The drama was one of those rare plays that ask women to believe in their capabilities and prove their metal in this challenging world. With gender discrimination and patriarchal mindsets as its central idea, Sinf-e-Ahan is an excellent show of women empowerment. Hats off to Yumna Zaidi and Sajal Aly\u2019s astounding performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Parizaad<\/strong> (Hum TV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Shahzad Kashmiri directorial was a big hit and Ahmed Ali Akbar’s superb performance as Parizaad was no doubt epic. The drama revolved around a dark-skinned student who was ridiculed because of his complexion and whose loyalty made him a multi-millionaire. The story was full of memorable performances by Ahmed Ali Akbar, Urwa Hocane, Nauman Ejaz, and Yumna Zaidi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Fraud<\/strong> (ARY Digital)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Saba Qamar needs no introduction. She not only ruled the silver screen with back-to-back hits but also entertained her Television viewers with a power-packed performance in Fraud. The drama discusses the social issues being faced by our women usually after marriage. Saba Qamar, as expected, did her role with brilliance, proving yet again that she\u2019s amongst the finest actors we have today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi<\/strong> (ARY Digital)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Danish Taimoor as Shamsher created mass hysteria. In the play, he went to all extents to get Mehak (Dur-e-Fishan Saleem). Shamsher (Danish Taimoor) in his bid to do so eventually loses his life.
