The notification will remain effective till further orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the School Education Department (SED) notification, all public and private schools in Lahore will remain closed on every Friday and Saturday. The official Sunday holiday will count as the third holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision comes after the Lahore High Court (LHC) asked the Punjab government to notify the 3-day per week closure of all public and private educational institutes due to heavy smog that has gripped Lahore.
