Adeeb has penned multiple novels but in 1979 his fame skyrocketed when he wrote Maula Jatt. He says Maula Jatt was written against the system and that was the reason that it became a cult classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently Adeeb appeared in The Super Over with Ahmed Ali Butt and during the programme he revealed the amount he had demanded from Sarwar Bhatti for Maula Jutt. According to Adeeb, he was just paid “approximately 7 thousand rupees (in 1979)” for the original blockbuster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
