What is OCD?
For our readers, information Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a common, chronic, and long-lasting disorder in which a person has uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts (obsessions) and\/or behaviors (compulsions) that he or she feels the urge to repeat over and over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
OCD Symptoms
Fear of contamination or dirt.
Doubting and having difficulty tolerating uncertainty.
Needing things orderly and symmetrical.
Aggressive or horrific thoughts about losing control and harming yourself or others.
Unwanted thoughts, including aggression, or sexual or religious subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is due to this OCD that Shah feels irritated if someone touches her without consent or if it happens inadvertently. Ushna Shah recently shared an incident at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport where a security officer touched her with bare hands, without sanitizing his hands. Shah could not help pointing out the unhygienic behaviour of the security officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Triggered and angry, she wrote, “What. Is. With. People. Touching. Other. People. Without. Consent?!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Narrating the unfortunate incident, she further added, “How the heck is it okay for a security officer at Karachi airport to frisk me and run her hands through my hair without gloves and without sanitizing her hands? OCD is a real thing; I am shaking & retching!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many people have agreed with the Balaa star and expressed how they have often felt the same at airport security checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ushna Shah’s mother Ismat Tahira was also an actress known for Zanjeer (1986) and Hulchal (1985).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
