Web Desk — Inflation is a global phenomenon. According to the Bureau of Statistics, the annual<\/p>\n\n\n\n

inflation rate in Pakistan eased to 12.2% in February of 2022 from 13% in the previous month,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

pointing to the lowest level since November 2021. For a common man, under present circumstances,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it has become an uphill task to make both ends meet while depending solely on the legitimate means<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of earning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the solution?
<\/strong>There are two means that one can face the menace of inflation with comparatively less headache –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

either increase your earnings or increase savings.Economically speaking, inflation devalues our<\/p>\n\n\n\n

savings if kept in pocket and not invested. Hence, saving money has never been so imortant as it is<\/p>\n\n\n\n

now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Can We Save Money?
<\/strong>If we talk about Pakistan, there are several ways of saving money such as investment in bonds,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Savings Scheme, gold or other asset classes. The returns from investing in the Pakistan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stock Exchange (PSX) outweigh those from other asset classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of June 30, 2021, historical returns from the KSE-100 index for the 10-year period from 2011 to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 are 14.55% (on compounded annualised basis), which is relatively higher than the returns from<\/p>\n\n\n\n

other asset classes for the same period, according to a story published in The Express Tribune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inflation in Pakistan is expected to increase further in the later part of 2022 with inflation at 7.28% in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FY21 and Consumer Price Index (CPI) up at 13% YoY in January 2022. So, in order to beat inflation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and make both ends meet it is inevitable to have an additional source of income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In such a scenario, where a middle-class family can hardly earn its bread and butter, the stock<\/p>\n\n\n\n

market can be of great help as far as a second source of income is concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Invest In Stock Market?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, open an account in order to invest in the money market. The Sahulat Account is the easiest way<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to open an account for investment in the stock market. All licensed securities brokers are offering the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
