By Web Desk — Pakistan’s top court has suspended the ruling of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on the Ravi Urban Development Plan case, allowing the PTI administration to continue working on the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The local media reported that the apex court had suspended the LHC’s verdict declaring the River Ravi Urban Development Project (RRUDP) illegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SC bench was hearing appeals against the cancellation of the mega-development project, which was declared ‘unconstitutional’ as it lacked a master plan by a lower court on January 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the court reprimanded the Punjab government’s legal team for not being prepared for its appearance before the bench.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
