Pakistan favourite to Win the T20 WC

KARACHI: (Web Desk) Pakistan is one of the favourite cricket teams for this year’s T20 World Cup to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman.

Pakistan cricket team’s all-rounder Imad Wasim said this in an interview. Wasim hoped conditions in UAE will be suitable for Pakistan.

“We are favourites because UAE conditions will suit us as a home ground. We are playing in UAE for a long time and that is why the Pakistan team is one of the favouites for the upcoming T20 World Cup,” he added.

Wasim said Pakistan had two or three good series before the T20 World Cup and we would try to win those series so that we head to the T20 World Cup with a winning spirit and confidence.

To a question of losing the central contract, the all-rounder said ups and downs were part and parcel of life. The only way out is to perform well to come back.

Wasim welcomed the upcoming tours of England and New Zealand to Pakistan. He said it would be even better if crowed is allowed inside the stadium.
